Build Your Own Laptop
and Save $$$

Here's a new twist on buying your next laptop computer, getting one with only the software and hardware you really need, or want.
ZipZoomfly
feels theirs is the better way, and it may well be so. You browse their catalog, pick out only the components you need, (all name brands of course) and assemble your own laptop. Afraid you may lack the skills and talent for such a large undertaking? According to ZipZoomfly, every last detail is clearly laid out in easy-to-follow assembly instructions, and their support system is fully prepared to cover any problems you may encounter along the way. I find this whole idea very intriguing over buying a fully assembled laptop for a number of reasons: Not having to pay for extra hardware or software I would never use. Saving bucks over a similar store-bought laptop is a big deal for me, and probably most importantly, if something were to go wrong with my laptop I would be able to make the necessary repairs or additions myself without having to pay exorbitant repair costs.
Now, this is where I feel it is important to clarify that CyberAdz.biz is not an affiliate, dealer, distributor, or seller for ZipZoomfly in any manner, nor is this a paid advertisement by them. I simply felt this indeed was a new take on owning a laptop, which could one day suit my needs perfectly the next time I am in the market for a new laptop. I then thought you might feel the same way, and would have been disappointed had I not mentioned it to you. Drop us a line if you purchase your next laptop with this firm, and we will be happy to post your critique on the pros and cons of buying a laptop in this manner.

Camera That Sees Through Clothing up to 80ft Away

Okay, everyone, take a deep breath, you are not likely to see this camera on the market anytime soon. Developed specifically for surveillance at airports, railway stations, banks, shopping malls, stadiums and high security risk areas to detect weapons, drugs, and explosives, this new technology has attracted interest from police forces, and government agencies around the world. Originally designed for use in spacecrafts and astronomy, someone eventually figured that a camera that could see through cosmic dust clouds would easily be able to see through clothing. How long do you think it was used before this guy finally said to his boss, "Hey, look what I discovered about our camera."

March 29,
8-9 p.m. is
Earth Hour

If you are unfamiliar with what Earth Hour is about, allow me bring you up-to-date on this unique and growing phenomenon. The Australians started Earth Hour in 2007 to get people thinking about conserving a resource so cheap and reliable that we take it for granted and use it recklessly, Electricity.
Cities, towns, countries spanning six continents are joining the March 29, 8 to 9 p.m. event to go black or power down for that one hour in our lives. Andy Ridley, Earth Hour director in Sydney for the World Wildlife Fund says, "The commitment is to get the lights off for an hour." He goes on to say, "It's to put the idea in your head that you can actually do it [that you can help make the difference in the fight for climate change with this one small gesture]. The reality of climate change is that it's the aggregate of everyone's actions." Created to take a stand against the greatest threat ever to face our planet, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming. This simple act has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world. As a result, at 8pm March 29, 2008, millions of people in some of the world’s major capital cities, including Copenhagen, New York, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Mumbai, Johannesburg, Brisbane, and Tel Aviv will unite and switch off for Earth Hour. It is so easy to become a part of this remarkable endeavor and join the world community's Voice for Change, and see the difference you can make by joining all of us on Earth Hour 2008. Now, the Lightbulb of the Future

It was only a matter of time before someone came up with a new and better lightbulb. What is so remarkable about this particular lightbulb developed by Silicon Valley's Luxim company, is that this full spectrum lightbulb is no larger than a postage stamp, and is as bright as any street light out there at 140 lumens per watt. A regular everyday lightbulb only gives off 15 lumens per watt. Watch the video if you find it all just a little hard to believe. As a young man, I remember reading about a kid who developed and presented a battery at the local science fair that was the size of a silver dollar, but was powerful enough to power an automobile. The reason I mention this is because my buddies and I were joking around that we would never hear another word about the story, because the big battery conglomerates around the world could not afford to have this discovery get to market, and would end up buying out this kid for some enormous amount of money just to squelch the story. We were just young guys horsing around about it all, but we were not laughing by the end of the week when we could not find another word about this fantastic discovery, anywhere. I mention this story only because... well, I think you know why, but maybe things are a lot different today than they were then. Anyway, check out the video on the new lightbulb discovery, and if we never hear or see another word about it, you can say you heard about it here first. Video
